Yogyakarta (MAN 2 Yogyakarta) – A profound sense of gratitude and pride filled the Broadcasting Room of MAN 2 Yogyakarta as the institution virtually attended the 2025 SAKIP and Integrity Awards ceremony hosted by Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (PANRB Ministry) on Wednesday (February 12, 2026). The occasion marked a historic milestone, as MAN 2 Yogyakarta was officially granted the prestigious Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) status and declared its readiness to advance toward the Clean and Serving Bureaucracy (WBBM) designation.
Under
the leadership of Principal Hartiningsih, S.Pd., M.Pd., and accompanied by Head
of Administration and Integrity Zone Team Chair Isti Wahyuni, S.E., M.M., as
well as School Committee Chair Drs. H. Nur Abadi, M.Si., the entire Integrity
Zone task force stood solemnly as the Indonesian national anthem echoed through
the room. The recognition symbolized the culmination of years of consistent
effort in strengthening accountable governance and delivering excellent public
education services.
Carrying
the theme “Transforming Accountability and Integrity Toward Indonesia Emas
2045,” the national event underscored the urgency of reinforcing integrity and
performance-based governance. Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic
Reform Rini Widyantini emphasized the importance of technology-driven public
service transformation, while Deputy for Bureaucratic Reform Erwan Agus
Purwanto highlighted the steady rise of Indonesia’s Bureaucratic Reform Index,
SAKIP Index, and National Public Satisfaction Index in 2025—clear indicators of
sustained national progress.
Out of
297 work units nationwide receiving WBK or WBBM recognition this year, MAN 2
Yogyakarta proudly stands among the distinguished institutions contributing to
Indonesia’s reform agenda. Principal Hartiningsih stressed that the WBK
achievement is not an endpoint, but the beginning of a deeper cultural
transformation.
“This
WBK status is a mandate,” she affirmed. “We are committed to strengthening
digital governance, enhancing transparency, and ensuring that every educational
service is delivered efficiently, responsively, and free from corruption. MAN 2
Yogyakarta is ready to move forward toward WBBM.”
This
vision aligns with the broader reform direction championed by President Prabowo
Subianto, which prioritizes responsive bureaucracy, effective budget
management, inter-agency coordination, and the eradication of corruption. As
Indonesia enters the 2025–2029 phase of bureaucratic reform centered on Digital
Governance as the foundation of Human-Based Governance, MAN 2 Yogyakarta
continues to adapt by reinforcing technology-based services and transparent
administration.
The
success of this achievement reflects strong collective leadership. The
Integrity Zone Development Task Force, chaired by Isti Wahyuni, operates
collaboratively across institutional units to ensure sustainable reform
implementation. Coordinators in change management, governance structuring,
human resource development, accountability strengthening, supervision, and
public service quality enhancement work in synergy to embed integrity into
daily practice—transforming reform from documentation into living institutional
culture.
With
WBK status secured, MAN 2 Yogyakarta reaffirms its identity as an educational
institution that excels not only academically but also in governance and public
service integrity. The journey toward WBBM now represents its next strategic
commitment, ensuring that professionalism, transparency, and accountability
remain the foundation of its service to the community and the nation. (pusp)
